![]() The assembly of all of the Rangers in this series takes place divided as separate stories that arise as the series runs its course. The Power Rangers in this series combine the partnership of humanity's martial arts and Animal Spirits together with special technologies that serve to provide an essential enhancement to their ways of facing evil forces - such a combination of the Pai Zhua's styles of living and the mechanics of these technologies gives benefits that, as the series progresses, also demonstrate valuable lessons that the younger members of the Pai Zhua learn and understand and thus eventually embrace for the rest of their lives. The Pai Zhua's forces are divided into small groups who each exist with different means, methods and other skills but otherwise all live for the same righteous purpose: the defense of Earth against Dai Shi and both his schemes and forces: ![]() The Pai Zhua fight against evil by calling on the spiritual powers of beasts and combining such a power source with the martial arts of humanity to use a human and beast spirit dual offense collaboration as a safeguard against the Dai Shi Clan's ways, using this combination of two forms of aggression for good causes. They are the guardians of Earth against the abusive use of Animal Spirits by the series' antagonists, the Dai Shi Clan led by and named after the heartless spirit Dai Shi, for the extinction of humanity and the replacement by and ruling of evil beasts. They commit their lives to fusing the idea of martial arts with the abilities of these distinct Animal Spirits. Each member of this faction is given an Animal Spirit that acts as their own unique sentient, beast-like power source. Wham Episode: The Phantom Beasts revive, Jellica is killed, the three Masters are taken and Dai Shi creates new Rangers from their animal spirits.The Pai Zhua ( Chinese: 派爪, Pài Zhuǎ) (also known as the Order of the Claw) is the leading protagonist faction of the series.Rewarded as a Traitor Deserves: Jellica tries a powerplay for leadership, but instead she gets destroyed by the Phantom Beasts who decide that Dai Shi is still worthy of leadership.So, Dai Shi's order to "bring me the 3 masters" is his way for them to earn trust. Though not without reason, as the last time Dai Shi and the Phantom Beasts were out, they were on opposing sides. Power of Trust: Ironically, this is something the villains want to establish now.Now the phantom beasts effortlessly destroy the last one, and beat up the rangers with just one of their monsters in this episode. Out With The Old In With The New: The overlords were problematic enough to fight over the last 3 episodes.Irony: In the war 10,000 years ago, the Overlords had Undying Loyalty to Dai Shi, while the Phantom Beasts were The Starscream.It turns out to be a Checkovs Gun in the following episodes. Saying it's "A little light for when things get dark". Foreshadowing: Master Finn has a new telescope he doesn't want opened.And Your Little Dog, Too!: Jellica's order to destroy Dai Shi."Oh, and the lizard too.".But while taking care of her, the 3 masters might be in some grave danger. Meanwhile, Lily is mentoring master phant's niece to have some confidence in her dancing. Jellica intends to use them on Dai Shi to take control of the war herself, but the outcome may change the course of the war forever. Thus, 3 of the phantom beast generals (Snapper, Wiger and Scorch) are released. As the ritual night of starlight finally arrives, Jellica uses the ritual of release on the 3 crystal eyes they still have.
